Gift Memberships A Children’s Discovery Museum (CDM) membership – A gift that will be enjoyed all year long! When you purchase a CDM membership as a gift, we will mail you or the recipient* a “Gift Certificate.” The recipient will activate the membership by turning in the gift certificate at the admissions desk on his/her first (or next) visit to the Museum. The membership will be good for one full year from the date of activation. *After purchasing the membership, please respond to the confirmation with “send to me” or “send to the recipient.” If you would like us to enclose a personal note, please include it in the e-mail. Family Membership – $120 Unlimited free admission for designated family members (2 adults living in one household and their children and or grandchildren under the age of 18) for one year; Members' Only Hour on Sunday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; Discounts on programs, workshops, birthday parties and purchases in the Museum Gift Shop; Subscription to Museum Newsletter; and Invitation to Members' Only celebrations and exhibition previews. Purchase a Family Membership Gift Certificate Explorer’s Circle – $175 All of the benefits of a Family Membership, plus: Three free one-time use admission passes (good for up to six people) for use at Bay Area Discovery Museum, Habitot Children's Museum or Lawrence Hall of Science; Discounted admission to Bay Area Discovery Museum, Habitot Children's Museum or Lawrence Hall of Science; Outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, free admission to participating museums nationwide. A full-year of contributing level membership, with all the benefits of the Family & Explorer’s Circle Memberships listed above, is included with the purchase of a tile.
