About Us

Kaiser Permanente San Jose and Children’s Discovery Museum officially launch a new and innovative partnership

Kaiser Permanente San Jose and the San Jose Children's Discovery Museum are proud to launch a new and innovative partnership with a special weekend event called Kick Start Eat Smart. This fun and interactive event is part of a special three year initiative promoting healthy living for families in an effort to win the fight against childhood obesity.

This partnership seems more important than ever as we deal with an epidemic of childhood obesity. One in three children today may be faced with diabetes in the future!  Kaiser Permanente is committed to disease prevention and health promotion. Our partnership with the Children’s Discovery Museum allows us to do this important work with families in the communities we serve.
