Continuing with the story of Max in Maurice Sendak's book Where the Wild Things Are, the adventurer Max sails across the sea and arrives at the place where there are many wild creatures. The wild things, with horns like goats, tails like horses, scales like fish, and feathers like birds, greet Max fiercely. They roar their terrible roars, show their claws, and gnash their teeth.
