About This Site

The Web site for Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose (CDM) is targeted to engage children, 4 to 10 years of age, in quality, on-line and off-line interactive activities, focusing on the areas of science, mathematics and literacy. |

The site is also designed to provide educational support to parents, care givers and educators who live and work with these youngsters, and to provide general information about the Museum.
Registration on the site is not required to access any information or to participate in any of the activities. However, we do encourage parents and educators to register on the site. |

Parents are asked to register their family and each child individually on the site.
Educators are asked to register themselves, and encouraged to ask the parents of their students to take advantage of the family registration. |

Family registration will allow us to offer more personal experiences on the site for each child registrant.
Registration of educators will allow us to communicate appropriate educational content directly.
We also will offer registrants the opportunity to select to receive periodic newsletters and updates on the Museum's exhibits, programs and events, as well as updates to activities on the Web site and activities which can be done at home or school.
Communications generated from the Web site will be sent to the adult registrant only. |
