This 900 square foot space at the top of the stairs was designed to offer quality visual art activities that children are not likely to experience elsewhere. Using found man-made and natural objects, and traditional art-making materials and tools in unique ways, children can explore their ideas and develop new skills.

July
Design and build a critter fort or a home for a gnome, and make a drawing of your project to take home.
August
Press painted objects and inked stamps onto paper to create your own pattern.
On View
Oaklandbased artist, Lea Redmond, will create a sitespecific installation inside The Art Loft using custommade stamps inspired by nature.
