Bring your picnic lunch (or purchase a bite at the Museum’s FoodShed) and join us in the Museum’s outdoor Cadence Amphitheatre for a live lunchtime musical experience on select days throughout the summer!

Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band is an unexpected mix of brothers Miles Quale, age 14, on fiddle and Teo Quale, age 11, on mandolin. They are joined by fellow Rambling Minors bandmate Andrew Osborn, age 15, on bass, and John Gooding, 16, on guitar. Don’t miss your chance to hear these remarkable young singers/musicians.

Miles and Teo are state and national fiddle and mandolin champions. They have been featured on National Public Radio and performed at International Bluegrass Music Association’s World of Bluegrass festival.

Known for his rock-solid rhythm and fiery bass solos, Andrew has had guest appearances with a number of Bay Area bluegrass bands, including 35 Years of Trouble and Savannah Blu, and is a regular member of the band Festival Speed. Learn more at www.facebook.com/cryinguncle/

Cadence Amphitheatre opens at 12:00 noon and concerts begin shortly thereafter. This event is included with Museum admission.
