Bring your picnic lunch (or purchase a bite at the Museum’s FoodShed) and join us in the Museum’s outdoor Cadence Amphitheatre for a live lunchtime musical experience on select days throughout the summer!

Former member of the popular 60’s rock group, “The Sons of Champlin,” Tim is now creating and performing acoustic music especially for children ages 3-8. Tim also offers himself as an example for kids: paralyzed with polio at age 7, he believes children benefit from seeing him as “just a regular person whose legs don’t work” who loves music as much as they do!

Tim Cain has released 5 albums and a DVD for children. His CDs have received national awards and honors from the Parents’ Choice Foundation, the National Association of Parenting Publications, and the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). He was recently selected by the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences to perform the “Grammy Concert Series” for elementary schools all around the San Francisco Bay.

Cadence Amphitheatre opens at 12:00 noon and concerts begin shortly thereafter. This event is included with Museum admission.
