Museum Receives $124,000 for Exploration Portal

The museum received $124,000 from Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority to develop Exploration Portal, an environmental education space adjacent to Bill's Backyard, which opened in 2017 to enhance children's learning about the natural world. Partnerships Helped Museum Go Green

Ninety solar panels were installed on the roof of the museum's exhibit fabrication shop, helping to offset electricity costs and setting the stage for future education programs for visitors.
