Tiffany Lin is a visual artist whose conceptual work examines how power is expressed in the subtext of American vernacular. Through a multidisciplinary practice that spans drawing, performance, and installation, she demonstrates how language is deployed tactically to mark “othered” bodies as conditional. When she isn’t stewing in doom and political gloom, she draws cartoons for her active illustration practice for select clients.
Tiffany received her MFA in Illustration Practice from the Maryland Institute College of Art and her BA from the University of California, Berkeley. She currently lives and works in Las Vegas, Nevada where she joins the Department of Art at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as a Visiting Assistant Professor.
