CCLI Project Coordinator

Summary Description:

CCLI (Cultural Competence Learning Institute) is a national partnership between Children’s Discovery Museum, two national organizations, and a research/evaluation firm focused on helping museum leaders catalyze diversity, inclusion and equity efforts at their institutions. CCLI develops and maintains professional development resources for the museum field including online learning modules (in development), website, in-person workshops, monthly virtual meetings, coaching, a comprehensive staff survey, peer networking, and specialized support for CEO/executive level team members. In partnership with the Exploratorium, CCLI is currently co-developing Cambio, an equity-focused professional development program which aims to help STEM museums be more relevant, responsive and sustaining for Latinx audiences.

Under the general direction of and reporting to the Director of Strategic Initiatives (whose responsibilities include project direction of CCLI), the CCLI Project Coordinator supports CCLI programming for Cambio and CCLI participants and provides general support to the faculty of Cambio. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy—highly capable with Zoom, Google suite, Microsoft products–and highly experienced with project management skills, including scheduling, calendaring, digital document organization and storage. Commitment to equity and organizational change are critical.
