Communications Specialist

The Communications Specialist is responsible for fostering communications with the public through development and coordination of written and visual content, and planning and implementation of social media strategies to build community, drive audience, and brand our Museum as a leader in interactive learning. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contributor for official Museum representation on social media networks, managing written and visual content (photo and video) for social and other media; updating the website calendar and Don’t Miss pages; coordinating cross departmental communications strategies; and managing photo and other media archives.
