Marketing Manager

Full Time; Exempt: The Marketing Manager is responsible for advancing institutional reputation objectives and for driving attendance to Children’s Discovery Museum, which serves children under 10 and their families. The Marketing Manager develops and implements advertising and community-based campaigns and strategies to maximize general audiences as well as group visits, youth recruitment, and target audiences.

This position is hands-on as well as strategic, developing and actively engaging in implementation of community partnerships and corporate volunteer projects. As a member of the management team, the Marketing Manager participates on cross departmental planning and implementation workgroups, and as a member of the Development and Marketing team, is a key player in the planning and implementation of the Museum’s major annual fundraising event, with primary responsibility for management of venue, logistics, and volunteer recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing and/or public relations. Supervisory experience preferred. Complete Description and Qualifications
