Non-exempt; part-time, weekends and some holidays.The Museum Store Cashier is responsible for opening and closing procedures and provides a high level of customer service by greeting and assisting customers in the selection of merchandise, processing sales transactions, displaying merchandise and stocking inventory. The ideal candidate is outgoing, has a high school diploma (or equivalent) basic computer skills, cash handling experience, a minimum of 2 years previous retail experience, as well as knowledge of children’s interests and related products. Excellent verbal communication skills and an ability to interact with a wide range of customers are a must. Bilingual skills are an asset.
