Artist-in-Residence

CDM’s Artist-in-Residence Zachery Ramos

Zachery Ramos is a passionate Lego artist who has been playing with Lego bricks since the age of six. From a young age, he was captivated by the vibrant colors and the limitless possibilities they offered, often staying up late to complete his imaginative creations. This early love for Lego laid the foundation for his future artistic endeavors.

Zachery’s formal education includes studying art at Gustine High School, where he honed his skills and deepened his appreciation for the arts. He furthered his education at Modesto Junior College, which provided him with a broader understanding of various artistic mediums and techniques.

Over the past five years, Zachery has dedicated himself to using Lego bricks as his primary medium to create intricate and inspiring scenes. His work focuses on themes that educate and inspire youth about their community, the environment, and the importance of staying active. His ability to tell compelling stories through his vibrant Lego creations has garnered significant attention and admiration.

One of Zachery’s career highlights is his recent display at the Gustine Discovery Center, where his work, Lego Gustine, showcases the beauty and potential of his local community. This exhibit reflects his commitment to using art to make a positive impact and inspire the next generation.

Zachery’s artistic journey is a testament to his creativity, dedication, and love for storytelling through Lego art. He continues to push the boundaries of his imagination, creating pieces that captivate and educate audiences of all ages.
