Annual Weekend Celebrates Rainbow of Diversity and Inclusion

Common Ground Program Gives Voice to Immigrants

Immigrants from China, Mexico, India, the Philippines, and Vietnam shared their experiences and cultural heritage during one of three dinners as part of the museum's innovative Common Ground gatherings. The year-long, grant-funded program designed to connect people from different backgrounds and encourage sharing and understanding amongst diverse immigrant communities will culminate in an art project to be displayed throughout the South Bay. Partnerships Helped Museum Go Green

Thanks to a donation from SunPower and Clean Solar and a partnership with the San Jose Conservation Corps, the museum is a lot greener. Ninety solar panels were installed on the roof of the museum's exhibit fabrication shop, helping to offset electricity costs and setting the stage for future education programs for visitors.
